We are a legally registered women's cooperative in Northern Uganda. Our members are expertly trained in shea butter production, and as owners of the cooperative, they receive 100% of the profits.
WONS supports several hundred registered members. This community continues to grow alongside our business. Each woman is trained in sustainable shea harvesting and production, ensuring both quality products and empowered communities.

Our Model
Our Nilotica Shea butter is sourced directly from women's cooperatives in Gulu, Uganda, and shipped to our facility in Annapolis, Maryland, where it is packaged for the U.S. market. Crucially, 100% of the profits are returned to our partners in Gulu. This ethical model creates a direct pathway to sustainable income and community prosperity.
